Warrior

Sale price$2,300.00

39 x 54 cm

The Warrior does not arrive to be admired. She arrives to be recognized.

There is a quiet intensity in her presence - one that does not demand attention, yet cannot be ignored. She carries strength that has learned how to remain soft, resilience shaped by experience rather than performance. What she reflects is not victory, but survival - the kind that continues long after applause fades.

In a space, The Warrior holds ground without dominating it. She invites reflection rather than reassurance, offering a silent acknowledgment to those who know what it means to endure, adapt, and remain standing even when certainty is gone.

Artwork Essence

THE PROCESS
The emotional weight The Warrior carries was formed through a slow, attentive process. Rather than correcting the surface, the work allowed what was already present to emerge steadily, guided by patience and continuity.

THE MATERIALS
More than 28,000 square resin facets, drawn from a palette of 39 colors, were placed entirely by hand over 70 hours. The crystal micro-mosaic structure allows tension and nuance to remain visible, creating a texture that feels earned rather than manufactured.

THE PRESENCE
In a space, The Warrior holds ground without dominating it. She invites reflection rather than reassurance, offering a silent acknowledgment to those who know what it means to endure and remain standing.

THE FINISH
Framed in natural wood, protected by anti-reflective glass, and double-sealed with non-toxic adhesive, the piece is built for longevity. Every material choice supports the same intention - to preserve a strength that does not announce itself.

From the Journal

Some scars are not the result of a single moment, but of staying too long where you had to be strong. They form quietly - through endurance, through silence, through choosing survival when softness felt unsafe. The Warrior emerged from that place. Not from triumph, but from accumulation. From everything that was carried without acknowledgment, and from the cost of holding oneself together when breaking was not an option.

As the work unfolded, it became impossible to ignore what was embedded in the surface. The scars were not dramatic - they were familiar. Doubt that returns. Fear that lingers beneath competence. The tension between wanting relief and knowing that healing does not arrive all at once. Each return to the piece echoed a question many carry silently: How do you keep moving forward when what shaped you has not yet loosened its grip?

What The Warrior holds is not an answer, and not a conclusion. It is a moment suspended between endurance and understanding - a recognition that strength often forms before clarity arrives. What lies beneath her surface continues to unfold, shaped by memory, resistance, and the quiet decisions we make when no one is watching.

HOW THIS ARTWORK CAME TO LIFE

Handmade

Created entirely by human hands, without automation or shortcuts. Each decision emerged in response to the image as it evolved, guided by presence rather than precision.

UNINTERRUPTED TIME

Days and weeks of focused, solitary work shaped this piece. Time was allowed to unfold naturally, letting the artwork find its own rhythm without the pressure of a deadline.

Facet by Facet

Thousands of resin facets were placed individually, one by one. A complex spectrum of colors interacts to create depth and movement, forming the image through slow accumulation.

Undoing & Rebuilding

The composition was adjusted and reordered throughout the process to ensure alignment. Not to achieve machine-like perfection, but to restore balance and coherence to the canvas.

Human Traces

Subtle irregularities and small gaps remain visible. They are marks of presence - quiet evidence that this artwork was made, not produced.

Materials & Finish

Double-sealed with a non-toxic protective layer, framed in wood, and finished with anti-reflective glass. Prepared for long-term interior display while preserving texture, depth, and character.

MADE BY HUMAN HANDS & SOUL

This artwork was created slowly, by human hands - without automation, shortcuts, or mechanical repetition. Every facet was placed in time, through focus, patience, and presence.

Throughout the process, pauses mattered as much as movement. Moments of hesitation, adjustment, and return became part of the work itself. Subtle irregularities, softened edges, and barely visible gaps are not imperfections to be corrected, but traces of a human journey.

What is made by human hands inevitably carries something deeply personal - the tension between intention and surrender, the discipline to continue, and the humility to let go. This is where Lunarti’s spirit aligns with the philosophy of wabi-sabi: a way of seeing beauty not in flawlessness, but in authenticity, incompleteness, and presence.

The artwork holds more than resin and structure. It holds hours of stillness, strain in the eyes, patience in the body, and the emotional weight of releasing control. Each irregularity becomes a record of presence, a reminder that what is made by human hands will always reflect the person behind it.

Just as we are shaped by what we endure, this piece is shaped by its making. It stands in its authenticity - honoring the idea that we do not need to be perfect to be whole.
