WHO WE ARE
Who is Lunarti?
Lunarti is a quiet art studio creating one-of-a-kind, fully handmade crystal micro-mosaics.
Each piece is built slowly, facet by facet, by human hands - not machines. For people who value meaning, presence, and emotional depth over visual perfection.
Who is behind Lunarti?
Lunarti was founded by Karolina Sofronieva, a former CMO who left the corporate world to build something real with her hands. A small business that brings honesty and empathy to the one who takes a piece home.
Where are they made?
Lunarti artworks are made in Bulgaria, a member of the European Union. Always one piece at a time, by hand. Each work is created in a private studio - slowly, with no automation and no shortcuts.
Who is Lunarti really for?
Lunarti is for collectors, interior designers, and everyone who seek art with soul - pieces that feel lived-with, not mass-produced. Lunarti resonates with those who appreciate craftsmanship, stillness, and the beauty of wabi-sabi.
Is Lunarti "Luxury Art"?
Lunarti does not define itself by luxury, but by time, intention, and human presence. Lunarti works are premium in craftsmanship and materials. Their true value lies in the hours given by hand - and the resonance they carry into a space.
THE ART & THE PROCESS
What are the artworks made of?
Lunarti artworks are built from thousands of individual crystal micro-mosaic resin facets. Each one placed by hand, then sealed and professionally framed. There are no prints, pigments, or paint - only light-reflecting resin, placed one piece at a time.
Are these diamond paintings?
The technique behind every Lunarti artwork is diamond painting. Individual resin facets placed onto a canvas, one at a time, by hand.d onto a canvas, one at a time, by hand. Each piece is created personally by the founder - not outsourced, not manufactured, not bought finished.
The design is chosen. The time is given. But the story each work carries comes from within. They become a mirror - born for a life not yet known. Yours, when it finds you.
How is a Lunarti artwork created?
Each Lunarti artwork is created entirely by hand using resin facets placed individually onto the surface.
There is no automation, printing, or mass production - only slow, focused manual work from start to finish.
Why does each artwork take so long to complete?
Each Lunarti piece takes between 60 and over 100 hours to complete, depending on size and complexity.
Smaller works typically require 60–80 hours, while larger formats (such as 35×70 cm or 40×80 cm) may take significantly longer.
This time reflects uninterrupted, detailed hand placement - one facet at a time.
Are Lunarti artworks perfect?
Lunarti artworks are intentionally human. Small irregularities - subtle gaps, texture shifts, or micro-variations - are not defects. They are traces of the hand and the time invested. This philosophy is rooted in wabi-sabi, where beauty emerges through presence, impermanence, and authenticity.
Are the artworks original?
Once sold, a Lunarti artwork is gone. Each piece carries its own traces - tiny gaps, small irregularities, the quiet marks of when it was made and how. Created once. For one person only. For the one that it will speak to from the very first glance. For the one that it was meant to be with through everything that follows.
Is this mass-produced art?
Every Lunarti artwork is built individually - one piece at a time, by hand. Nothing is factory-assembled, replicated, or produced at scale. The work is slow and intentional. There are no shortcuts.
Is the artwork finished and ready to display?
Yes. Each artwork is professionally sealed and framed, arriving ready to hang.
Sealing protects the surface while preserving the natural texture and light-reflecting qualities of the facets.
