THE PROCESS
The Lion was created through a slow, deliberate process that mirrored its meaning. The image emerged facet by facet, without shortcuts, allowing depth and contrast to form gradually rather than being imposed.

THE MATERIALS
More than 32,000 square resin facets, drawn from a palette of 36 colors, were placed entirely by hand over 75 hours. Three of these colors include subtle stardust elements, adding restrained luminosity that appears only when the light shifts - never dominating, always revealing itself quietly.

THE TEXTURE
The surface carries variation and texture shaped by repetition, return, and sustained presence. Not every moment of the process was visible progress, but every moment contributed to the whole.

THE FINISH
Finished with a wooden frame, protected by anti-reflective glass, and double-sealed with non-toxic adhesive, the piece is built for longevity - materially and symbolically. What it holds is not decoration, but accumulated attention.

For a long time, life moved too fast to be seen from the outside. Days were filled with responsibility, ambition, and constant motion - all meaningful on their own, yet overwhelming together. Everything demanded attention at once, leaving no space to step back and understand what was actually taking shape.

The lion arrived quietly, but insistently. Not as an idea, and not as a plan - more as a presence that refused to be rushed. Working on him created distance for the first time in years. Distance from noise. Distance from urgency. Distance from expectations that were never fully examined.

As the image unfolded, it became impossible to ignore what surfaced alongside it. Exhaustion that had been postponed. Doubts that had been outrun. Questions that only appear when movement finally stops. The lion did not offer answers - he offered stillness. And in that stillness, clarity began to form.
